The Orchid

Roommate brought this orchid plant home from work the other day. This is not only a very expensive flower, but also a unique flower that requires a tremendous amount of care compared to most plants. The plants stays in my room during the day so it receives the proper amount light every day. After reading up on orchids, once they stop blooming it becomes a challenge to regrow the plant after cutting it down.

Roommate lost interest in the orchid soon after her delivery. In an email she said, "the orchid turned out to be a lame addition...that thing just sits in roommates (Ribods') room, listening to NPR, reading about rats, emailing on its flowerberry..."
