Bird's Eye View

I took this picture before landing in Laguardia Airport the other day. It is the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge and it connects Staten Island to Brooklyn. It is the longest suspension bridge in the United States and the second longest in the world to Humber Bridge in England. The total span is 7,200 feet from anchorage to anchorage. I thought it was pretty cool that the water looked red due to the sun setting.
